Glen Gould

Glen is of the Mi'kmaq Nation, originally from Unama'ki'k (a.k.a. Cape Breton Island) and has made Vancouver his home for the last nine (9) years.
He is best known as an Actor, beginning his career back in 1990, appearing in multiple Theatre, Television and Film productions, most recently working on the feature film the Reawakening. He is currently working on the Quebec television series "Temps Durs".
He has appeared in television shows such as E.N.G., Forever Knight, North of 60, Cold Squad; First Wave; The Chris Isaac Show; The Relic Hunter; So Weird, Dark Angel; The Black Sash; Legends - The story of Siwash Rock, which won an award for 'best life content' at the 1999 American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco. He has also appeared in the Feature Films: Crossfire Trail; Lola; Yellowknife and most recently completed the feature film "The Reawakening", starring Michael Greyeyes and Gordon Tootoosis.
Glen was also nominated for the "Best Performance by a Supporting Male in a Dramatic Series" at the 2003 Leo Awards for his role on DaVinci's Inquest.
In addition to television, film and theatre, Glen has also worked as a puppeteer on the children's television show, "Wankaheja" on APTN, providing the personalitiy for "Flying Thunder". He has also done voice work for the Discovery Channel, CBC Radio, and recently completed four seasons of YTV's animated series "Yvon of the Yukon", providing the voice for Bill Tukyuk and most of the Native characters on the show.
He has been playing guitar and singing for the last 10 years, writing his own songs and formed the band "Donna's Boy in September of 2002 making him a well rounded Aboriginal Performer earning him a great level of respect not just in the Aboriginal community, but in the Canadian Arts community.
