Ali Landry was born on July 21, 1973, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, the Crawfish Capital of the Word and the heart of Cajun country. Ali has two siblings, a younger brother, Ty, and an older sister, Gena. Ali was a cheerleader at Cecelia High School in Cecelia, Louisiana from which she graduated in 1991. She went on to major in Mass Communications at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While in college, she joined the Kappa Delta Sorority.

Ali's induction into the celebrity world was as a child actress in the daytime soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful. In 1996, Ali earned the title of Miss Louisiana, and she went on to become Miss USA that same year. Possibly Ali Landry's biggest claim to fame is the Doritos ad campaign that debuted during the 1998 Super Bowl in which she did a series of gymnastics moves in a laundromat to catch a Doritos 3D snack in her mouth.

Ali has also appeared on Sunset Beach, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, and she now stars on the UPN's Eve. She has made guest appearances on Felicity, and Inside Schwartz. Ali has appeared on the big screen several times as well, most notably in Outta Time (2002) with Mario Ló pez and Who's Your Daddy? (2003). In February 2003, Ali was the Babe of the Month for Playboy magazine.

Ali once dated Pheonix Cardinals quarterback Stoney Case. Then, Ali met Mario López when he was the emcee at the 1998 Miss Teen USA pageant and she was a commentator. They became engaged in the summer of 2003 and were married on April 24, 2004. Their marriage was short-lived and their divorce was final on December 20, 2004. Ali currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
